Roof Accessories

I'm looking into a roof basket top carrier; any suggestions? I've looked on JC Whitney site for ideas, but since I'm new to all this I wanted to get other opinions. It's not just for looks, but looking into it for extra storage. It use would be to haul camping gear and luggage.

Cannot recommend whitson enough, i had a basket before and can honestly say the full length rack is a massive upgrade.

That rack is super nice but with a little ingenuity and a buddy who can weld coming up with your own design will be lots more rewarding IMO.

Whitson is a top notch rack though no denying that.

Here's a lesson I recently learned from experience. If you can, try and get a rack that mounts directly to the roof rack rails and not the crossmembers. I bought a Rola Rack and used it recently on a multiday off road trek through the Mojave Desert. No matter how tightly I fastened the stock Rola mounts, the rack kept shifting out of place. Granted I had quite a bit of weight up there (20# CO2 tank, spare tire, 5 gal gas, 60" Hi Lift). Just a suggestion.
