I've been searching around for a fishing pole holder to put on my stock roof rack to transport my fishing poles with me bu, haven't had any luck :Cry: So i was thinking of coming up with an homemade one as anyone else done something similar? Tips are welcome!

How hard did you look? They're everywhere! You don't need to find one for a 4runner specifically. Just Google roof rack fishing rod holder and you'll have a couple hundred to chose from.

DIY rod holders drilled through the racks, Ski-carriers, baskets

None of this stuff worked for one reason or another.
