I installed a BajaRack.

The other popular options are Gobi & Perkins.

I know BajaRack has overseas dealers, nit sure about the others.
 
i checked them earlier but i don't like them much...wind nose will be horrible adding that i have made a custom roof rack myself and have experienced that already. i can ship it back to you if you wish :)
 
I bought a rolla rack, not the highest quality but looks nice and I stood on it, I weigh about 235 so its strong enough. I like the way it has sides all the way around its more like a roof basket.

Maybe since I don't have a sunroof I don't hear the wind noise. I had a BajaRack on my landrover and didn't hear the windnoise then either.
 
I love my BajaRack. I managed to get 20mpg with is properly loaded. They have a distributor in San Diego and are made in mexico.

Another option would be a front runner like mike (in front). I believe dawgrunner (in back) has a perkins.

2 questions: do you have a sunroof? do you have a wind noise?!

i have removed my custom made roof rack because of terrible wind noise, that's why i am trying to search with racks without wind noise.

My ARB rack arrives this week. I like the sturdy one piece design, basket and quality. I'll let you know how installation goes.

No i don't want to drill any new holes... i am asking about the very first roof rack i attached the link for, if anybody have used it or tried it before? also if there are any good option with no wind noise.
 
The ARB is "supposed" to be quiet, but we'll see once its on and I have a sunroof. You remove the factory rack and it mounts to the existing holes. I like having the basket rails because it allows me to store gear more securely with my canoe on top.
 
The only issue I would have with the rack you posted is that it seems very item specific, meaning it looks to be designed only to carry the items that are on the rack like the tire, jerry cans and hi-lift. Many of the other racks such as the Gobi, ARB, Baja, etc. have modular attachments that you can use to add these items, yet you still get the full utility of the rack and are able to store gear up there as well.

I have a sunroof and mild wind noise. The only way to get around that would to have a very low profile rack that only mounts on the back half of the roof.
 
I have a Gobi stealth on the way in the next few weeks.
Has anyone tried powder coating or plasti-dipping their rack?
I'm assuming the plasti will peel off too quick, but I'm afraid to full on paint the rack.
