Roof rack issue

I searched the interwebz as well as the forums and couldn't find one.

Some where along the lines someone installed the luggage bars on backwards as the front arrow is pointing to the rear.

So my question is there a write up or an easy way on how to remove them so I can correct the issue. It makes an ungodly howling noise.

Can do 2 things , either remove the 2 rear covers & turn them the right way round or slide them back as far as you can !

Is there a trick to taking the caps off?

a little tricky to do without breaking. There are 4 tabs along the base (2 each side), and there is one tab sticking down from the top center at the end. Try to spread the base from the tall end as you lift. Good luck.
