Roof rack light question.

Looking to install two rear facing led flood lights on the back of my Yakima basket, but unsure how to run the wiring for them. I was thinking of notching the rear hatch weather seal, but realized thats probably a bad idea. Any thoughts?

I tried digging through a bunch of old threads but not having any luck.

I wouldn't mess with seals. I ran it down the roof, down the side of the rear hatch, and I just ran it up over the seals and under the carpet to the front.

I always run my wires through the flex conduit for the rear hatch that has the wiring for the third tail light and the tailgate window.

Just an option for you, I removed the rear lights and came through there.

Take the cover off the back of the roof rack, and run the wires down the hole.

Deal with silicone, and run the wires forward.
