Rooftop Lightbar

I picked up a Rigid E-series light bar for a give-away price so I decided to mount it on my bumper and move the Baja Designs light bar to the roof. They are both 20" light bars but the BD Stealth bar puts out 7000 lumens with 20 LED's, the Rigid puts out 7400 lumens with 40 LED's which results in a much "fatter" light in profile.

I expect the Stealth light up top will create a lot less wind noise than the Rigid so a swap was in order.

I always try to avoid making holes in the cabin so with that in mind, I decided to run the wires along the driver window channel to see how that would work out.

Black electrical tape seals the window channel and pretty much disappears

Very nice. I've only seen one person besides you do this. It was on a newer tacoma down in tucson except he had cut out a section in the middle of his bumper and set the light bar inside lol. You found a much better spot to mount it! Pics of the light at night! I'd love to have one of those. My friend just mounted one on the roof of his Rhino too.

That low profile light bar almost blends in with the roof rack cross bars. I kinda like that, it's truly stealthy.

I'm debating going this route or going through the roof rack with hole to be able to run stuff up my A pillar.... your method seems awesome though...

Did you raise your "Toyota" emblem on the grille so that the Rigid bar was not blocking it?

Gawd I love your truck.... That lightbar up top is so stealth I had to double take to just see where it was! Awesome.

I can't figure out how to pop the cap off of my roof rack. Ugh

Since I live here in Tucson where street lights are pretty much non existent, that would make a great backup light as well as having additional forward facing lighting.

Be careful popping those off real brittle , when I did my SE rack read a post about them . 2 spots bout an 1 1/2 in with screw-driver thin 1 , go slow but they come off pretty easy once find the spot .

Yea I had a ***** of a time trying to find the damn clips. I'll try to pop it off tomorrow. Gonna be building some custom mounts off the front mount

Ya chipped 2 of mine n a fu*&^%g hurry , but ya if its still a little chilly use your thinnest blade to slide under then use screwdriver aight ?

I'm gonna use a vinyl siding puller. I love finding crap when organizing my tools. I had to absorb my father's tool sets

I did reposition the "Toyota" emblem. The mesh I used for my grill makes it really easy to move it around.
