I know Army Green is the new bee's knee's. But anyone else miss the old school LandCruiser RootBeer Brown?

I have a Nautical Blue and have thought about wrapping it in a similar matte finish.

If there are any pics or threads about it, I'd love to see it.

If you are serious about this, Clark, I would head down to your wrap shop and look at the colors.

Balloon matte is the hotness, they should be able to do a rendering for you.

Someone who lives near me drives a 3rd Gen that color. I'd never seen one like it, so I asked if he'd had it painted. He said no, it was only available one year. It's a great color - Gen5 would look great!

Personally I think we need more brown trucks.

I've got the copper brown metallic on my short list of possible paint colors. This is the classic root beer brown if I'm not mistaken.

I want to get rid of my bushwacker flares, and touch up some small rust areas on the liftgate. which means a LOT of paint work.

Check out this thread. I think there was brown but didn't go through the whole thing again. There is a bunch of pics though with different colours.

I have no issues with my '16 TP.

The 474 color would look killer on a 5th Gen. My main drawback is having nautical blue door jams. Small issue for me if I wrap it, I just like it all to look legit.

If I needed paint work, I'd jump all over 474!!!

This made me LOL. I hadn't heard Shitstain Brown since dating a guy in H.S. that drove a brown Firebird. Brown is under rated.

Anthracite Metallic was available in '96, '97, and '98. I liked mine.

Ok, I was just replying to your comment that was a reply saying you knew someone with Anthracite Metallic.

The picture you posted is Autumn Blaze Metallic (paint code 4P5), available in '99.

Thanks - I must have missed the anthracite reference when I made that comment. I thought I was responding to a root beer brown comment.

Anyway, that Autumn Blaze would look sweet on a Gen5.
