Rot in Hell, Top Starter Bolt!

Wife's '04 Sport V6 flooded to the floor mats last month in Houston - it's all better now except weird intermittent delayed start/non-start issue. Went to pop in a reman'd starter and just spent well over two hours trying to get the top starter bolt unstuck. Tried penetrating oil, MAPP torch, 18" breaker bar on a ratchet extension with a flex socket, electric impact driver.. Tried from the side wheel well, tried from below, took the exhaust bracket off.. Everything! AUGHHH!!

I'm admitting defeat for the first time ever and taking it to a shop in the morning. Garbage.

I hate when that happens! Honestly, you may have done the right thing by taking it to a mechanic. Let them fight the bolt.

My bag of tricks was empty. My neighborhood shop said they'd do it for $150, wish I would have just taken it their directly!
