I was bumping up my Bilstein 5100s up a notch to better fit my 285s. I wasn't looking forward to yanking these things out again, but im glad i did. There rubber coil isolators that came on the monroe strut mounts were rotten! Almost gooey and gummy.
These are 1 year old Monroe PN#904900 strut mounts.
Anybody know of a decent replacement? I am running OME springs, so i cant use the tundra isolators (although, they are also monroe, so no thanks).
Does energy suspension make one that could be used? Haven't found anything obvious yet. I guess I'll just go buy OEM top hats from Camelback or something.
Only reason i used these is because they were mentioned on several lift threads...anyone else have theirs rot? almost looks like oil contamination, but there is nothing else in the area indicating that...dry and clean.
