Rough Idle, Engine Sputtering, Engine Ticking, Flashing CEL

I think ngk, it did it before I changed the plugs also

I would do a compression test on it, if normal then a leak down test to determine if there is any indication of a head gasket/compression loss issue. You have air, fuel, and spark I assume from what you are telling me. It's interesting that you have a misfire in cylinders 7&8 at the same time, the HG could be broken in-between the cylinders which could be detected by a compression test. A leak down test would see if there is leakage from the cylinder into the coolant via the head gasket.

Usually when you have a misfire, it's only in one cylinder if it's an injector or coil pack. It's very unusual that 2 injectors next to each other would fail at the same time, however it is still possible.

You could also check the fuel pressure, if low, then check the screen at the fuel pump. It's not too bad to drop the tank, however a compression test would be easier.

You are right, sorry my bad. Likely not spark plugs or coil packs, or even injectors. Low fuel pressure sounds even more likely, however the fuel rail runs from the firewall to the front of the vehicle? Seems like cylinders 7&8 would have the most fuel pressure.

Has the timing belt been done within the last 90K miles?

Supposedly at 95k

That's a tough one man. I would check the fuel pressure, if normal, then check timing, if normal then do compression test. Not sure it could be anything else.
Compression is lower on the 8 all the rest are fine, that was before the inhectires and new plugs, the 8th cylinder wasnt firing at all before the coil had oil on it causing it to fire in the valve cover. Since then the cel went off after the injectors then came back then resumed flashing at low rpm. So I need to do a fuel test soon

Recheck compression after you get it running good. How low was it compared to the rest?
