Rough lift amount with these LC springs

Would like to get a lift going on my 2000 4runner and ran into these front springs from a FJ-FZJ80 (not sure of the year). One of the front springs are purple/purple - dark blue- white and stands at 18 7/8 inches with 8 coils.

The other one is purple/purple - light blue - white and stands 18 5/8 tall and is about 7.75 coils.

I have seen on multiple sites that these usually are 19.25 and 19 inches tall... Does it look like mine are the same ones? Could they be shorter because they just might have more miles on them?

About what will I get height wise out of these installed on the rear? With and then without the cone stoppers?

With my 8 wraps I had about 4 to 4.25 inches in the rear lift.

Your looking 4-5" depending on how worn they are and if you keep the rear stock bump stops in place which add about .5" lift.

I'm not sure what length mine were originally, but they are roughly 7.5 wraps. Since stock ride heights vary so much due to the age of stock springs and model year, I'll tell you that my rear hub to fender measurement were 25 1/8" on the drivers side and 24 3/4" on the passenger side. That is with the stock rear bumper and trailer hitch and WITH the cone spacers. Stock height is regarded as 20-20.5" hub to fender so I'd call it 4.5"-5" of lift. I realize that sounds like a ton of lift, but if you lift your front by 2.5-3", the stance is perfect in my opinion. 1.5" is the minimum amount of rake I'd want to run.

I now have a heavy rear bumper (~140 lbs) and the LC coils have sagged to 24 1/2" on both sides. I am considering dropping my front coils by one notch, as it will put less stress on my CV's and I'll still only have about 2" of rake.

Looking for about that and a fair rake, not level. The Tundra TRD front spring and Tundra 5100 adj. Bilsteins should work out well at 3.5" rear and 2.5" front I am hoping...

I have the same lc coils and gained more lift than expected. I actually took them off bc the rake annoyed me . Seems like this post just solved my problem. What should I use in place of the factory cone bump stops with to bring it down in height? Thanks

My new 7 wraps got me 3.5 without cone stops. Like stated they will be good for at least 4" lift.

What year LC did you get 7 wraps off of? Mine are 8 and 7.75 wrap...

Interested as well...I've had a set of 8 wraps stashed in the shed for a while...

I looked on Wikipedia at the lc article and it gives the vehicle height for the various years. The 80 got taller over time, so it looks like early years were probably 7 wraps, mid were 8 and late were 9.

Edit: just checked the wiki. Height years were 1990-1991, 1992-1994, 1995-1997. So I'm assuming, and could be totally wrong, that the much coveted 7 wraps would be from model years 1990-91.

According to this, 7 coils are from a 1994... BUT, not sure if those are rears he is showing.... Hmmmmm

Got them off a 1994 at a pick and pull. They had Two so I pulled the coils off both vehicles.

After a few hours of research, it does appear that the 7 coils are hard to find and usually only on the 1995....
Anyone with a set of these that they want to part with?
They should be:
18.5" Double Pink Grey White 7.5 wraps
18 7/8" Orange Orange White 7.75 wraps

You'll get a good 4" out of those without any extra weight... start adding stuff in there and you'll see how fast they start sitting down. I am going to put my cones back in because there is almost no rake now when loaded with equipment.
