Rough Start Build

First Time Posting, after lurking for months and being inspired to install a lift after viewing many build threads, I was finally ready to install a new lift on my 1999 4Runner. This week I finally received my bilstein 5100s and my eibach 3 inch lift coils from wheelers offroad as well as rear OME shocks and coils. Since I did not have any tools whatsoever I went to a DIY auto shop in West Covina and attempted to install my lift. With no mechanical skill whatsoever and after 8 hours of labor, I managed to install the front lift for my 4Runner. Little did I know I need a aftermarket control arm for such a high lift. Because of this, I had a pogo stick affect while I drove it . I immediately drove it to a dealership they slammed me with a $1000 fix. Knowing that is terribly irrational, I went to some people near my house they did it for $200. Now Im stuck with my stock lift without my new coils and springs and wasted $400 on just getting back to square one. :redbrick:

But with all the money spent I am still glad I took upon the job myself having no mechanical skills whatsoever and a growing appreciation for my car! :first:
