rough starts

everytime i start my runner after it sits for 3 or 4 days, the engine chokes for a second and spits out a bunch of smoke. what is this about? i have never had a car do this, much less one that has less than 10,000 miles on it.

Get it back to the dealer. This is not normal. The color of the smoke can give you an indication of what's happening. What color is it?

i have never checked which color, typically because i don't think about it until after it is too late. it has a pretty potent smell though.
