Rpreme's 2000 Highlander Mall Crawler

Man o' life, you've got yourself a minty 3rd gen mate! Lookin' great - time to find a trail and get some dirt on the rig!

Due to too many flakers.. The SCS's are back on the daily.. And they're on to stay..

Now that the SCS's are gone, finally settled with these TRD beadlocks due to the fact that I can always replace the rings when I ever curb them. They also look stellar.

Got some new 285/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers on while new caps also came in last night..

You have a nice clean ride man! loving the pics as well! You buy wheels like as if its a Jordan shoes! haha.

IMHO the SCS's are better looking!

lol thanks. The SCS's were nice, just went a different direction and decided to wheel this rig more.

the title of this thread should be 'watch me keep changing wheels'. lol, get onto the good stuff! ;)

lol, I guess you can say that.. Finally found the finish on the F5's I was looking for. Snagged a great deal on them so I couldn't say no.. On to armor next, decisions..

that is my absolute favorite wheel to put on a 4runner. i saw them before i bought my 3rd gen and that is what i knew was going to go on whatever i bought.

i dont see the blue color too much, although i really dig it!

How does it ride with the 881/890 combo with the OME shocks?

The ride is not as harsh as I don’t currently have any armor and am on stock body. I think the ride harshness is dependent on your tire load rating. I’ve had SL tires on this rig and it rode smooth. I’m on D rating 8 ply tires an don’t feel much of a difference.

Definitely a good route to go if you’re looking for a budget lift.

I’m using 881/890’s and just got the same SCS wheels and tire setup but the fronts rub like crazy. I started trimming and pounding but realized the previous owner who lifted it didn’t install front spacers to level it out. Do you know which spacers you have installed?
