rs3000 questions

Hello forum, I know Ive beat this subject to death, but here I am at it again:
Here is a link for the RS3000 control unit to control the keyless entry. I currently do not believe I have keyless entry for my runner. I have a 98 SR5. Will this work in my rig? Do I have the piece that plugs into this to make it work? I have an aftermarket keyless entry/ alarm WHICH I HATE!!!! Where is the my power door control located? IS that what will plug into here? Can someone please help me / tell me what I need to be able to get the FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY!!! I do not care about the alarm....I just want the factory remote.

where in So-Cal are you located?


BTW my 2 cents is walk away and spend your cash on something else. AFTER-MARKET keyless remotes / alarms / remote starts ... the end story is the car will (probably) have electrical problems down the road because of this aftermarket electrical mod.

Long beach; I'm crossing my fingers hoping I don't have electrical issues down the road. I really want the keyless entry especially since I'm used to having it( my 06 taco)

Just get a good aftermarket alarm like Viper or Clifford. I've seen some 15 years old working great. The factory alarm really isn't anything special.
