Has anyone instaled VIP RS3200 Toyota security system on 2004 sports edition? If yes how long it took and how much $ ?

Well mine came with the VIP installed. But i can tell you i really like it alot. It is because of the VIP that i have not yet added an aftermarket alarm system. Infact, a local car audio shop here does all the work for the local Toyota dealership. They said for $199 they will upgrade my VIP, using the same key clicker thingand it will just be getting the vibration and movement alarm add ons. But i love it as is also. I think you will like it, but not having it, you may find it cheaper and better to just go completely after market.

I got my RS3200+ for $190 off eBay. It was a pretty easy install. Altogether, it was a 3 hour job. It took me a bit of time to wrap up the wires.

Wow, that's a pretty good deal! Too bad it's only for 2000-2002 models.

said if you have the 2000-current intrusion alarm that this add-on is only $59.99, another website had it at $89.99...is he full of it???

$249 on that last link I got install pdf. file for 2003 year model is 2004 same? Also whats the reason to remove door sill cover for install?

You have to remove the passenger door sill cover to get the passenger kick panel cover off. It just snaps off ... no worries.

Is 2003 install instructions good for my 2004? Are all harnesses and steps still the same? Cause I do not have install info for 2004, just 2003...
