RSG Angled Sliders with Top Plate
I'll chime in with my experience. I emailed RSG on a Saturday morning and got a call from them about 2 hours later. Sliders in stock, ready to ship on Monday. Received them on Thursday. Put them on Friday afternoon, took a couple of hours by myself with a couple of jack stands and no KDSS to deal with - and I'll add, I am not terribly handy. The fact they were ready to ship was a selling point for me, lots of nice sliders out there but thought these looked good, already powder coated and I could have them on within a week. These work just fine as a step too.

I painted and installed mine. I love them. These look great and are built well. They stick out enough to use as a step for my kids. I’m looking forward to bashing them up in the rocks 
The install was easy. My only issue is that I think the washers supplied with the sliders would work better if they were a bit wider. Maybe I just didn’t center the slider holes over the frame holes well enough, but some of my washers didn’t cover the slider hole on both sides so one side of the washer drops in the the hole when you tighten up the bolt. The sliders still seem pretty secure, but just to be sure I picked up some wider washers from the hardware store and I’m going to replace the wonky ones. It’s no big deal at all. Overall still super happy with these.
RSG is great too. UPS misplaced one of my sliders. Only one showed up on Saturday. Jason followed up with them on a Sunday and let me know the missing box would show up on Monday. Great customer service. Make some skid plates man! I’ll do buisness with you again!

Same issue here. Only got one in last night, UPS says the other one will be here today.
Ive had terrible service from UPS lately:
ARB compressor was delivered to the neighbors house at 9pm...
My spare tire was a day late...
Another order wasn't delivered until 9:05pm...
And last night they deliver 1 slider at 8:30pm. I called on the second and got some story about the truck having mechanical issues. Said it will be delivered today.
Before you sign off on the second sliders make sure the box isn't damage as well. My girl didn't check my box and notice damages after I opened it.. just a small dimple on my slider.

My second box was mangled. Looks like it fell off the ups truck. Slider was fine though. It might have had some scratches on the end had I gone with powder coat but sice it was raw no problem. My wife asked the driver to make note of the condition of the box and she took pictures in case there was more damage when we opened it.

One of my boxes was beat up a bit and one end open. However, the sliders were wrapped pretty well, I got the powder coat, and I had no issues. The hardware comes taped pretty securely to one slider, so no issue with a small packet falling out.

I painted and installed mine. I love them. These look great and are built well. They stick out enough to use as a step for my kids. I’m looking forward to bashing them up in the rocks

Agreed, the washers could be a bit bigger.

Forgot to comment on this earlier, I agree, a slightly larger washer would eliminate having to have every single one lined up perfectly. Not a big deal, but worth a mention in case it is an easy fix RSG might consider for future orders.

I'm liking the flat ones with top plate. Can anyone chime in on using them as steps in snowy/icy conditions. That top plate looks like it could slippery with a Vibram sole full of ice/snow while getting gear off roof rack - much less with a ski boot! I wonder if they will consider putting some kind of non-skid on them in the future? In the meantime I guess you could always put bedliner stuff on them?
Wondered the same and also figured on using bedliner if needed. I'd have linex shoot the top surface.

Did you install these by yourself? Going to try and tackle mine tonight by myself. Planning on using a jack or maybe a box to hold one end while I am working on the other.

I did mine myself, its not that hard...
Just used a couple jack stands to help support them and slid them under the 4R (drop a rag over the jack stands to avoid scratching). Patiently got one end up and 2 bolts started by hand, then the other end. Got everything snug, leveled and tightened up. It might have taken me 30min per side...using a 1/2" ratchet. An impact might speed that up a bit.
You'll need a 13mm socket for the supplied bolts and a 12mm to remove two existing bolts in the frame (they are replaced with 13mm).

Cleaned up and ready for paint...
Paint was a little brighter than I expected, but then realized it matches my wheels, bumper valances and front springs...even though the pic doesn't necessarily look that way.
I think I'm going to roll with it and try it out for awhile...

I was going to do the same, paint or have them coated in silver/gray to match the front and rear bumper inserts. But I got lazy and just ordered them powder coated black. I'm not sorry but your's does look good and it is DIFFERENT.
Ordered Sunday, arrived today! Packaging was flawless and no damage to the powder coat during transport.
Installed solo tonight with no jack stands, just put low bolt in front and did the same in the back and proceeded to go bolt by bolt. Took about 1.5hours including time to remove stock running boards.
My only advice is to liberally apply PB blaster before attempting to thread bolts, it’ll make life a lot easier.
