Thanks. FYI, I just did 4 coats of rattle can and 3 coats clear.
White will probably show every scuff mark from your shoes though...just food for thought it that sort of thing bothers you.

Yup. Just used some jack stands to get them roughly in place and then lined up a hole on one side, put a bolt in by hand, then lined up a hole on the other side and added more bolts.

You could also use skaters tape.

Got mine in yesterday, and put them on last night.
Boxes were beat up from transit, but no damage to the sliders.
Neither box had instructions in them, so I just winged it. The only RSG instructions I could find, was for KDSS models.
SOBs were heavy AF. I planned on using jack stands.. but forgot I left them at our shop, which is about an hour away. I found a bucket to rest one end on, while I hand threaded the other side.
All in all, it took about 2 hours to get them on. I had trouble getting a few bolts in, so I ended up just leaving them out and will get to them whenever I can get it to my buddy's shop with a lift.
I went with the angled/open face sliders. Terrible lighting, but I will add more later:

I have a super white as well and my sliders should be arriving today. These pics made me even more excited!

Not sure.. but I went with angled for a few reasons:
They sit nicely with the body lines. There isn't a slider out there, that sits flush with the rocker panels. The flat sliders on the market, usually have a small gap between the rocker and slider. The angled ones give the optical illusion, that here isn't a gap there, due to the way the tubing hits the body lines.
I went with the open design, so I definitely wanted angled. They look better than the flat open design, IMO.
There seems to be a little extra clearance height on the outside. Not sure the difference in height, between flat and angled, but the way it flares.. it has to produce a little more clearance.

That all makes sense, and I prefer the look of the angled so I was just wondering.

On the flat ones it makes a little more room for your feet to step up on, the angled ones bring the outer edge of the slider closer to the vehicle, if that makes any sense? Let me also add, that it makes your step up about 2" higher.

I’m deciding between the angled with or without out top plate. Since they’re angled up, when used as a step you won’t be stepping on the plate anyway so what’s the point?
But I guess the plate provides some protection from rocks and debris rhet Kay fly up and hit the rockers/doors?

What are we supposed to do with the brake line/clamp that we had to remove, to put the sliders on? Are we supposed to bolt it back in, with the clamp connected, over the top of the face plate?

<br><br> Correct, there’s a slot where the factory clamp sits inside then bolts to the face of the slider plate. <br><br>
