Well that wasn't too bad. Just need to borrow something to cut the KDSS plate but pretty straight-forward otherwise.
I'm very torn between the angled and flat version. I have a full length roof rack and I'm worried that the 15* angled version won't give sufficient step area to load the rack. Change my mind.
So you own the angled, don't have an issue accessing your roof rack, but suggest that I get the flat version.I have the angled, and if i were you i would go with the flat, i do use my my roof rack, and am not worried about loading it. The kick out would also help with foot room for loading.

May I ask why?

You convinced me. I ordered the angled version with top plates last night. I got a call within 10 minutes from Jason thanking me and letting me know when I can expect the sliders to ship. That is superior customer service!I have the angled with the rear kick out, and have no issues accessing my GOBI. The rear kick out pads are very supportive and stable to use as a step. The forward step is certainly thinner, but not uncomfortable to stand on. Either way you go, you’ll enjoy the solid customer service, ease of install, and the performance of the sliders. Good luck!
It’s usually the month then 100. So I’d try Aug100 or August100 on their site.
Is anyone running is near Phoenix AZ? I can’t decide between the angled versus the flat ones. Would love to see some in person.
I have a trip to Havasupai in September then heading down to Flagstaff afterward. I placed an order for the angled with kick out so if I get it before that trip and you’re willing to to drive to Flagstaff you are more than welcome to check it out.
Im up there every other weekend. That would be great. Thanks.
