So the dealer has actually really stepped up. They said it's not covered specifically, but they will definitely work with me because the CV axle should not go out a month after buying it. So kuddos to them.
It's a small used car dealership, and the owner was the one helping me. He seemed to think it might not be the CV joint, he was saying that theres potentially a 'stop' I'm hitting that lost it's rubber piece. He tried to tell me where to look, but I couldn't see what he was talking about.
However, I hit a parking lot again tonight to see if I record the sound to send them (out of state dealer) and for the shop I'm taking it to next week, but it was actually really hard to re-create it. The other day the noise was only on a full left turn. Every 3-5 seconds there would be a 'bang' type sound. Only on the left turn, coming from the left wheel well. Tonight, I tried several times and the sound was sporadic, sometimes not happening at all at varying speeds. But it still only happened on left turns, and only when the steering wheel was full left. But again, not every single time did I get the noise.
There were 2 distinct sounds I heard tonight, an initial croaking or creaking coming from the wheel well, and then 'bangs' or 'pops'. I recorded some videos, they're short, take a listen and see if you guys have any ideas. I took a good look at the axle's today, and they looked bone dry with no issues. I don't know what to think.
