I tried searching but didn't find anything on the product. Does anyone have any experience with the Rubicon Expedition hitch tent rack? wondering the pros and cons vs a RTT.

I saw it at Overland Expo West a year or two ago and IMO it's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. Typically you create a product that provides a solution to a problem. This only creates more problems at a high price. Point of a roof top tent is well, to place it on a roof. Could be on your vehicle or a trailer. With this you've in essence just turned your RTT into a ground tent. You're better off saving money on the cost of the hitch thing and a roof top tent by going with an true ground tent like a Springbar or Oztent style.
I see quite a few flaws with this design. You're carrying a large vertical brick on the rear of your vehicle. It obstructs your rear view. It increases the length of your vehicle and reduces your departure angle immensely. You're hanging at least 150 - 200 lbs of cantilevered weight far off from the rear axle of your vehicle. You're going to sag like crazy and need to upgrade springs and suspension. If you're driving on rocky, corrugated and rutted roads that's going to put a ton of stress on the joints of the hitch thing and could lead to metal fatigue and cracking. And lastly, it's a hitch mounted roof top tent carrier and that sounds silly enough. I've seen some stupid products in the name of "overlanding" and this is right up there.

Haven't seen this one before.
Also - I'm pretty sure these are normally called "tent cots". And they're usually about $150-300. Putting one on a hitch should be a pretty easy task. Or just putting them on the roof when you're going somewhere is easy enough. There's a billion different sizes and designs of tent cots.
At least this guy is kinda interesting..
I saw a RTT recently that they had made a flexible fabric fold up floor system and they used flexible poles to hold the top up. And the entire thing could then fit in a bag about the size of a sleeping bag and store inside the car.
