Greetings from San Antonio,
I’m new to the forum and wanted to start a thread to not only monitor progress, but to share to the my Runner to the world. I know that there aren’t of a lot of Golden Pearls out there, so I want to make this one, one of the best out there. I fell in love the color some time ago when I seen one on the road. I was for certain that I wanted the color, but in 4WD, seeing how both are rare, I hopped on the first one that I seen when I was ready to purchase. My girlfriend and I flew out to Las Vegas and picked this one up from Friendly Ford. I had secured the deal from over the phone with the salesman. The dealership wanted $11,777 but I was able to negotiate down to $10,821+ Texas TTL when I returned back to the state. The journey back was pretty awesome, we spent the night in Vegas and headed down to the San Diego Area for a couple of days before returning back to Texas. We were able to see a few beaches, La Jolla and Carlsbad, and then we journeyed over the mountains to the Palm Springs Area.
My reasons for wanting a T4R are pretty simple. I wanted a vehicle that could go anywhere and do anything. Coming from the “slammed to the ground” Honda world, I wanted to go a different route. I hope you all stop by every now and then and check out the progress! I look forward to learning and progressing here on the site.

Picked up some FJ/TEP Wheels in Houston. The seller only had them on for a little more than 2000 miles.
