A few years ago, I cut the wiring to the stock running board lights and attached small puddle lights to it with no problem. They activated upon unlock and they would turn off when going into gear or locking the vehicle.
The lights have since become trash, so I replaced with KC Hilites. When I go into gear, they do not turn off. I since went back to the old lights and they do the same thing. They won’t turn off while in gear.
I had some parasitic draw which killed my battery. So I’ve disconnected my ARB air compressor. I have removed my Joying aftermarket head unit. I disconnected the rearview camera from the tail light harness.
Any ideas?
