Rocky Road kits also have a lifetime guarantee against bending and denting, Shrockworks does not I noticed...

P.S. Yes Sliders can rust, ask me how I know. If you are not ever planning to use them for actualy sliders I would reccomened a PC or Bedliner (professional/heacvy duty) vs the rattle can jobs as you will likely be touching them up yearly if you use Rattle can. Some seem to have better luck but in a midwest winter mine looked fairly poor after 1 season

OMG! Have you tried to look under your car and check how many exposed "holes" are there? There are so many that even have threads and are exposed. It's not a dry wall, you don't necessarily have to patch them all up and paint them over.

I think the OP is the same one that used to open a ton of new threads on subjects that have been covered a thousand times. Same year, model and color truck. He got like 100 posts within a few days. I think it was Jedi something.

No clue what your talking about, but I can tell you that because of this forum I have gotten better ideas in a day then I would have in a year. That is why I changed my rims and tires in the first place. Loved the look.

Yep Shrockworks, I got them for looks, the fiancé and in hopes of doing some off roading in the future.

Otherwise would you have left it as is after removing the oem's? Does it snow by you? Any issues with rusting yet after those got scraped up ?

Yeah I would have just removed the OEM ones. I use Fluid Film on everything underneath so no rust issues.

Gotcha. The entire underneath? By the way those sliders are much higher than the oem boards. Does your fiancé still have issues getting in?

Mine didn't come with any and I think it looks a lot cleaner.
I did order a set of kickout sliders from budbuilt... Should be here next week..
