I know most of you guys like them off but I'm torn. It's much more aggressive with them off but cleaner with them on. I can't decide.

If I didn't wheel my truck, I would leave them on for the convenience factor. Will also potentially extend the life of your driver seat upholstery being able to sit down without "sliding in."

That said, I do wheel and I have already mulched one set of factory running boards, so the choice was obvious for me.

If you go on trails, remove them. Otherwise, I'd say leave them on. Protects the rocker panels from rock chips, etc

I do not get off road much and I don't want to start tearing up my rig at this point with them being off.

This is an inaccurate explanation .... You won't tear up your rig with the running boards off while running green or blue trails. In fact you will do more damage by leaving them on. If you are doing any off road even green trails you should remove the running boards.

Just sell them.

What is your wife / GF like 4 foot 9 or something? Running boards should be the first thing to go.
