Running boards

Any idea how much weight the running boards on an 04 can take?

I stepped on mine while cleaning today, and then thought about it and got a step ladder instead.

Seemed solid enough, but I didn't care to find out the hard way how stury they really are.

I am a very big guy...

I am about 170 lbs and they had no problem holding me. I had to stand on the running boards to clean off the snow from my roof. They felt very secure
