Rust and leaking are going on my Limited

Went to local shop to change engine oil and looked up body frame when they lifted up.

Noticed leaking from transfer case and Rust is going on body frame...

I wash my car once a month regularly and do additional wash especially under body day after driven salt snow.

Y'all also having any issues what I have?

Looks pretty typical. The exhaust flanges can't be avoided. As far as the rest of the frame, suspension, and rear axle goes, a little black rustoleum on the affected spots once or twice a year when the vehicle is clean and dry, and its warm out, goes a long way. It won't make it go away permanently but it will slow the rust down tremendously and from what I see of your pics, you have very little to worry about. There are new Jeeps on the lot with almost that much rust already. Takes all of 30 minutes in the spring one afternoon.

Can't really see the leak, the part of the pic with the T-case looks blurry to me.

Mechanic didn't allow me to go under the car while it's lifted up due to safety so had to rush to take a picture of them and mechanic also confirmed leaking but couldn't find leaking point.
My dad owns JL wrangler Rubicon but his JL also has a rust but not as bad as my 4runner as of yet.
I know JK is very well known for rust issue. By the time I purchased my 4runner, rust issue was one of issues that made me not to buy JK even brand new.

Don't use Rustoleum. Use Corroseal. It converts the rust and turns black.

Corroseal is only as good as the prep. If you don't grind it down to clean metal then it is as useless as rustoleum. OP is better off spraying fluid film on everything except exhaust.

You are going to get 100 different answers here but this was the easiest and cheapest way for me and its working great against salt and other crap that causes the frame/metal to rust on the Runner.

1st - get a wire brush and scrape off whatever you can as far as rust. Just go over it once over and scrape away till smooth.

2nd - apply this $7.00 per can -- only need 2 cans.

Do this before every winter season. After winter season is over, look under the Runner to see how its holding up. You shouldnt need to apply it again unless you see rust, which you wont. No need to jack up the Runner, just lay on ur back with goggles and spray away. First hit up all the rust spots, then do other spots without rust. Cheap, easy and it works.

Will try it since it doesn't cost too much and easy to do. The most of reason why I posted here was just wanted to share my 4Runner's condition and better to see and check every time have a chance to see under the carriage even mechanic doesn't want let people see it.

My 8 year old Jeep and 8 year old T4R who both live in the NE wouldn't call rustoleum "useless". They both are damn nice underneath considering what they get put through. 1 time a year, 20-30 min, $10 and done.

You're 4runner looks great. Im not going to tell you not to worry about that. However, many us in the snow belt wish our 4runner looked like that. Beautiful 2015 chassis.

I use Fluid Film. Just spray it on the rusty spots. It lasts a year. I like that it's not permanent "paint".

EDIT: leaking transfer case is not great. It is a known concern.
