Rust on back bumper

I own a '99 SR5 and a small spot of rust is forming on the back of my chrome bumper. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get rid of the rust and/or which products to use in order to prevent the rust from spreading.

What do you mean by back? If it's coming from the inside out, you're screwed. If it's a rust spot, get a Dremel and get rid of it and then polish it up.

Mine is from the inside out, so I just gave up and painted it black. The micro holes and rust color are invisible. When it really goes I'll bother with replacement.

Crumple up some aluminum foil and dip it in a glass of Diet Coke. Scrub bumper with foil. Works like a charm...unless it's from inside out, as stated above.

If it's just on the surface, fine steel wool works with a bit of Silvo polish.
