Rust Trough
1. Is rust trough factory skid plate covered under warranty?
My factory front rusted trough on the passenger side. I mean all the way trough in one spot (about size of a pancake). The rest of it looks brand new. What gives?
2. Is it bad design? Is A/C dumping water on that area?
I ordered new one from Toyota for $230.00, but will that one last? I'd hate to replace body parts every 5 years, it sure can get $$$. I plan to protect new one with some bed liner on engine side of the plate (inside).
