Hey, quick question for you guys. I am looking to buy a 2006 4Runner form the east coast and the guy sent me these pics. Does it look like more trouble then its worth or just fine?

Thanks in advance!

If you plan on working on this rig yourself....RUN FAR AWAY!

Seriously, doesn't look too bad, but you gotta look at the bolts all over and see of they look like a hassle to unbolt. I know salt will destroy a car, since it did my mazda in the 5 years that I lived in MI/IL. I got really handy with a cutoff wheel :uzi:

I think you can do better...

That's nothing. Mine looks far worse and I had no problems getting the bolts off of my ball joints, sway bar ends, tie rod ends, etc.

Thanks for those replies guys. Everything else on it is great. Rust was/is my only concern. I don't mind doing some brushing/little bit of sanding, I just didn't want a huge frame project

That really doesn't look bad at all for a ten year old truck. If there are any spots that concern you, you could apply some POR-15 and have no worries.
