Rust!

Got my 4 runner a month ago. I know it has rust on the frame and It has a patch or two from the previous owner. I want to try and make it last. My friend told me just to sell it. I'm looking at all the different rust converters, rust covers.. etc. Everything I read has had mixed reviews. Por15 has a lot of prep work and a lot of my frame still has paint on it. I was thinking of using Chassis saver or Rust bullet. Any recommendations?
