Nervous Hour or so as the 4Runner went up on the Lift for some Rust Work Assessment.. Chap doing the Work was highly recommended..

Actually looked better under there than I was expecting, although there is quite a bit of work to be done, at least it wasn't a case of Too Far Gone..

Snapped a nice Sunset Photo on the way Home..

Not as bad as I feared..! Nothing really needs replacing, but definitely some grafting i.e. top and bottom section of the Doors, and also having the Plastic Fender Flares removed; I prefer the no Fender look.. No doubt there will be some reparation work needed to the Fenders..

Rust sucks, but the 4runner looks great. If it's on frame forget about it, drive it into the sun.
Nothing on the Frame, no.. Just Bodywork..

Although he is going to separate the Body and Chassis and recondition the Chassis.. Sand Blast & Treatment Paint etc. I think I may have just caught that in time..

Exhaust is FUBAR, and the Suspension needs stripping and repainting.. It's all manageable and within the realms of possibility, so am very happy with the prognosis..!!

Definitely need new Shocks and Springs.. Is it worth replacing the Torsion Bar setup at the Front for a Coilover..? Any recommended Setups for this..?
