Rusted out transmission cooler line?

I just discovered this problem today and taking it in tomorrow. What did it cost to fix the trans cooler lines?

Yep, have had two issues.
First was the dipstick tube rusted at the joint by the exhaust manifold and was spilling ATF every where. The tube is a two piece set up. In order to repair I had to drop the AT pan in order to drill out the rusted piece. And then insert the new top part of the tube into the lower tube. It was pretty simple other then dropping the pan.
Second was the cooler lines located under the front radiator. Dealer found the leak and charged me around $280.00 to fix. I could have done it as it looked to be a easy fix, but paid for the work to be completed to save time.
I have a 2004 sport v6.

Pretty sure the snow isn't causing that rust. I see a lot of original FJ40s doing snow plow duty in ski towns around here.

When you get it repaired, coat the rad new bracket and hard lines with some fluid film to keep the road salt at bay. It's the only way I've found to prevent mitigate this from happening in locales where they salt/treat the roads.

I recently had this repaired on my 04 V8. I think my mechanic charged around 160.00. When we were under there looking for the leak we could not believe the condition of the power steering lines. They were completely rusted out and my mechanic could not believe I even had steering and it wasnt leaking. I searched on line and found a like new pressure side line and had the mechanic install it for peace of mind. Chances are if your tranny lines are rusted, your power steering lines are too!
