Rusting trailer hitch

i hate it too, only part of my t4r that doesnt look new and shiny. I plan to just get a hitch cover for when I don't have the ball on there.

FYI, that post was from a few years ago. Last October I applied POR-15 to the newly rusted areas of the undercarriage that I did not treat the first time.
I learned my lesson and applied POR-15 to the entire undercarriage last October.

I also use POR-15 on my car trailer. Was doing maintenance on it the other day and noticed that the areas treated with POR-15 a couple of years ago still look great.

As was said in that post it is VERY IMPORTANT that one follows the manufacturer's instructions for applying POR-15 EXACTLY.
Using the "Marine Clean" and "Metal Ready" products as needed is also VERY IMPORTANT.
