ryhi's 4runner

You can still take the fire road with out any issues. I was in 2wd until I started taking some of the off shoots for the harder trail portions of it.

put on some new bling this morning:

The wheels are 18x9s. Same exact setup as before except this set is chrome. I was actually considering the rally armor flaps but instead went with jaos.

i like the new rear spoiler you got from burtman, how hard was it to install?

thanks. install was fairly easy. pretty much just drill 3 holes, seal them to prevent rust, and bolt it on. it comes with detailed step-by-step instructions.

tried on some custom tails i made out of some full clears. the shade of red is a bit too dark for my liking so i will be redoing them. also i will probably be doing the outline of the taillight on the bottom half so it looks more OEMish. here's how they came out:

Thats cool, still an OEM look but its different. And the dark red looks much better, I also tinted my tails to a bit darker red. Did you switch the bulbs around since the colors are reversed now?

I just tried them on so I haven't switched the bulbs yet. I was thinking of having the center light up as brakes, top signal and bottom as reverse.

I have to say, if I saw your Runner in a parking lot, I'd bet whoever I was with that it never saw a speck of dirt. And I would lose.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Super clean rig. Love it. Love that it sees dirt too!

Changed up my wheels today. They're 16x8 JAOS Victron Excel II PRO with 265/75/16 BFGoodrich Mud Terrains:

Yes, I know the tires are a bit small for the amount of lift I have.

I dig em! But I think I prefer your old wheels on it. Why the switch?

(took this from the gallery so i dont clutter it up with my pics)

i feel that wheels play a huge role on how a car or truck looks. every time i change wheels it feels like i have a different car..

Kinda figured that. And I know what you mean. Amazing what a different set of shoes does for the look of your ride.
