S/C help

Yesterday my supercharger was making a loud whistling noise.. Not like the standard whine it usually makes. I turned off the car to go take a look, see if anything stood out. Everything was still looking good. I turned the runner back on, and it went away. Has anyone else heard this noise, or even better, know what can cause it?

Have no clue, but mine makes a whistle when I barely give it gas on the freeway, but I think its my TrueFlow intake. I just barely put it on this weekend...it is SO SWEET!! Anyways, I know there are pages of S/C ??'s over on yotatech....check them out!!

maybe the car is just warming up. i think it's because you installed it yesterday, and so the whislting noise is coming from your air intake. which it's sucking alot of air since it's new to your car. and of course, it will become normal after you drive it. i don't have a S/C which i don't really want to ruin my car yet but i think it's your engine warming up and your air intake sucking alot of air to warm up.
