?’s on new to me ‘07 SR5

I’ve been away for a while after selling my ‘05 Limited when I left CO for FL. It didn’t make sense to bring a 4x4 built for mountain trails to FL. To replace my old truck I bought an ‘07 SR5 2WD. I was surprised to see 110v power in the console, thought it was a Limited option only. I was disappointed to find it doesn’t work though the fuses look good. Any tips are appreciated. Also, next to the plug in the console is an AUX imput, what’s that for?

The aux is for audio. Like plugging in a Walkman, or a portable CD player to play through your radio .

For the AC power, try charging your phone. It’s not meant to power big things. Also make sure you’re engaging the AC power button to the left of the steering wheel. Like where your center diff lock button used to be. If that’s on and you’re still not getting juice, chances are your inverter is bad or the relay in the engine fuse box. The inverter is a pain to get out. It’s inside of the left quarter panel just above the wheel well in the cargo area.

To make the AC outlet work you have to turn on the switch on the dash, left side of steering wheel.

Thanks guys, I had the AC outlet in my Limited so I’m familuar with it, it just isn’t working. The fuse is fine and I swapped the relay with another one and still nothing. I guess it’s the inverter, bummer.

Cool on the aux input, I’ll plug in my Walkman and give it a try. :reddance:

Seriously I tried plugging my iPhone in to it today and it works, quite nice and much easier than installing an adapter like I had to do in my ‘05.

Disappointed the 110 outlet is dead though.
