Sacramento/Foothills Area Trail Run Oct. 28 2017

[having fun]

Works been picking up the last 3wks. And I drive local for a living, and didn't come home last night.

Then get a call my sister wants to come up for the wkend, and I'm burnt. I'm out for this one.

Keep me posted on other runs please.

Oh man this is tempting. Too bad its not an overnight trip. But I may still come out for it. Need to get this rig on a couple of trails before winter hits. Blown engine screwed me on so many meetups/trail drives this summer

I was actually thinking of possibly camping out there and go target shooting the next morning, if I can get everything finished up by friday night...

Yeah it's gonna take an act of god at this point... I can already feel the resentment overloading hahaha. 5 additional hours of driving for me just to get out there and back, not to mention the time to wheel. Makes for a long ass day. If it changes, I'll let ya'll know. But for now, signs are certainly pointing to a negative. Bummed.

Haha thanks. Spoken like a true unmarried man! (I think right?). Other factors at play besides me, otherwise I'd be there with bells on.

Sometime soon I'm gonna check out Knoxville. Hearing rumors of closures etc so I'm gonna go first hand and see. If I think it's worth your time, it should be a great winter spot: zero snow, just mud and dirt, mostly flat. So that's a future option to check out when winter shows up.

Hahaha calling you out? You're funny. Enjoy bachelorism. (Love my wife and daughter dearly but being able to ski-dattle for a full day becomes tough sans passive aggressiveness).

LOL Yea, I hear you. A few of my friends are already married w/ kids, so it's hard to find time with them. A few of them, I'm close with their kid and wife, so we usually all do something simple together, like brunch or donuts, etc.

I wont be able to stay overnight anywhere (family obligations all day Sunday) - but you certainly could... The planned exit route from Baltic Ridge is Mormon Emigrant road near Jenkinson Lake (SE side of it)... easy camping at Sly Park (if there's openings) or anywhere else right in that area along the HWY50 corridor.

BTW my buddy with the jeep just got new tires and had problems with them. They can't get a set until tomorrow around noon, so he's out.

Roughly 5 hours~6hours(?) from the start of the trail, to the very end of the trail...? The problem is getting there from 88 takes some time, and we didn't really keep track of that.. LOL
