Sacramento Area Meet n Greet n Trail Run (Signal Peak) Sat. Sept. 2 2017

As discussed in the Bay Area, Sacramento meet up thread (http://www.toyota-4runner.org/nor-cal/235319-bay-area-sacramento-meet-up-3.html#post2753517) Im putting this out there for anyone interested in meeting up. Details are as follows... Respond to this thread / PM me if you're in and I'll keep you posted if anything changes. Hope to see you out there.

Date: Saturday Sept. 2nd 2017 (I know its a holiday weekend... but hoping you all can still make it)

Meet up time & location: 8:00am at the Starbucks off I80/Sierra College Rd. (address: 5494 Crossings Drive, Rocklin, CA 95677). Its on the way to the trail, but should be close enough in case anyone just wants to meet for coffee.

Greet: I figure we can spend about an hour there... get coffee, swap stories/details about our 4Runners, what ever, then caravan to the trail head ~9:00am-10:00am

Trail run: Signal Peak. I figure we can head out about 10:30am, up the Eagles Lakes side, then exit down the back side, out Fordyce Lake Rd.
(Some info about the trail can be found at 4x4TrailMaps - Signal Peak). Anyone interested in just the trail run could meet us at the staging area at about 10:00am.

This is a fun trail, 4 miles from the trail head to the top and about 90 minutes to run. There are some pictures in the attached thread from this past Saturday.

I am 60/40 on going that weekend. Hope we can make it!

The way this trail is now. If you don't have a lift, decent tires or no serious lift, better have some belly skids.and possible sliders.

Just ran it somewhat not paying attention and tapped underside couple of times.
