Sad ....but Thankful News

I can’t thank all of y’all enough for the kind words. I am so thankful it wasn’t worse. Every time I lift the tarp to show someone it still hits me pretty hard. To the other guys with accident experience, I’m so glad y’all made it out! It’s a scary thing for sure. We gotta be thankful Toyota made a good vehicle. Thankful for all of your comments and uplifting words!!

I loved my 4runner so much, it sucks! I had it right where I wanted it. I hint Craig’s list like a hawk but man miles don’t scare me however it’s so hard to find one that isn’t full of frame rust. I sure hope to find one that’s decent. I found a guy that has one, his dad the original owner. Exterior looks great, interior decent, rear diff housing and axle housing rusted, hole in skid plate, sway bar end link pure rust. Sucks. Gotta keep searching!!!

Hey guys,

Just wanted to give everyone an update. But first off again, I wanted to thank everyone for the out pouring of prayers, thoughts, and kind words. I made the original post when I was just a few days out of the rehab hospital. Things have come a long way since then! My life has been put on hold for pretty much the past 9 months as I am just getting back to work. The recovery has been a blessing and I'm so thankful to be where I am. I am just starting to get back to doing some things I love to do, like working in the garage.

I did search for many months and had to wait out the medical bills and such but once that was looking somewhat clear, I found another 4Runner. Honestly I couldn't even get into my Super Duty. We have always had a WJ as an extra vehicle but it actually caught fire while I was in rehab. It was able to be put out quickly, but obviously, there are many issues that need to be tended to on that...so I had to find something.

Thank you all again so much for the support. I haven't been on the forums, or really on the internet at all much over the past 9 months but things are starting to get back to normal and I'm excited to be involved on the forums again.

Hope everyone here is doing well. I read through all the replies again and again and its so greatly appreciated. Ya'll are awesome.
