Sad Day, Said Goodbye to Our Greyhound, Maya

We said goodbye to our 10 year old greyhound, Maya. I'm not going to go into details of what was wrong, but I'm just going to ask that you give your pups some extra ears scritches tonight.

Riding in the Runner will never be the same.

Archie's 8, so he's getting up there...dreading that day, as I'm sure you are now.

She was beautiful, I love the brindles. Just keep in your head how much better her life was because you adopted her and gave her a second chance.

I think that says it all. That dog was lucky to be rescued and given a good home. I am sure she showed her appreciation every day. I have a rescue and that little dog seems to appreciate life so much. When its time, don't hesitate to give another a second chance. My condolences.

Will do. My dog just turned 11 (guessing as he was a kennel rescue) and I know he's getting up there in age.
