This really sucks, they even have their own 5th gen that they have outfitted for overlanding less the snorkel....

ARB USA has a 5th gen, but if I'm not mistaken they're only the U.S. distributor of ARB and Safari products and don't actually fabricate or manufacture anything.

Edit: Also, even ARB Australia is only a distributor for Safari and does not manufacture the snorkels. The ultimate decision to manufacture a snorkel for any given vehicle rests with Safari, not ARB.

It might be worth it to give them a call. No email listed on their own site. Might give Camel 4x4 a shout too and see if they have any plans for their Air Force snorkel.

Sorry to revive a older thread but I just emailed back and forth with ARB on this and here's a little more info then "Sorry no plans". I removed my badge # and contact info because it's nunya olice: J/K

I hope this helps some of you out if you were wating around on this, I have moved on since it ain't gonna happen.

Our office rarely makes contact with Safari direct, however, the last time I was in contact, it was [email protected]

Unfortunately, at this time its not looking good. The last time I heard, Safari requires around 250-300 new product requests for North American only vehicles just to start looking into it. At this time we only have maybe 35-40 request for snorkels for the 5th generation 4Runner.

Thank you for the email, I have logged your new product request.

The Safari Snorkel is actually not our product, we are only the
distributor for the snorkel in this part of the world. For new product
considerations, we submit requests like this to them in batches. Once
they feel that it is worth the tooling expense, they start to develop the
product. So at this time we do not know if they will develop the
product or not. It all depends on the demand for the product.
