[2014 Warthog]

Spent about 2.5 hours cleaning the Warthog this afternoon and it's back to road presentable

I sure do like getting it dirty, but I also like getting it clean afterwards!

Not too much dust inside but the outside and engine were caked as usual. The little black diamond offshoot we went on put some DEEP scratches down both sides, yikes. But some elbow grease with some scratch remover polish and they're all almost invisible. Whew! I would love to invent some kind of strap on brush protector for trails like that...

I feel ya Warthog, my 4th gen has some deeps scratches now, even the plastic cladding has fingernail stopping scratches... i need to make some time to buff her out :roadkill:

Hmmm interesting Nothing for 4Runer after 1997 though...

But I bet you could buy the material and hand fit it yourself.

Damn looks like good times. I wish I was free that weekend so I could have gone.

for a July or August trip I'd suggest Carveacre Trail & Pancake Rock

I went there earlier this year and it was pretty good.

its alittle much for my ride but if your free 28th we are having another meet at fiesta island, im sure its a all day event. big ol bon fire and food if you chose to bbq and stuff like that. ill figure out the time but yea. ill mostly be there for the fatass Bonfire lol ill be bringing a crap ton of wood, well as much as the back of my 4runner can hold, on that day we will figure out where the next trip will be at.

Just wanna remind everyone a week in advance that the official San Diego 4runner meet is on Saturday June 28th @noon fiesta island first person there park next to a bon fire pit. Bring whatever you want. Not sure on the alcohol situation. Dogs are OK. Should be a good time. I know that 1 or two guys are showing up from Expeditionportal.com.

Food is permitted but no glass containers.

Everyone should be bring there own stuff. That was kinda the deal that everyone decided on. So if you want you can bring all your own stuff.

I should have worn sunblock lol. I'm burnt up.

Other than that it was good times. Next time let's do the brewary again on a weekday or Oceanside on a Saturday so maybe some OC people can make it down.

yea that would be cool. OS would be a good spot, you know of any areas where a bunch of vehicles can park next to each other.

Park at the O'side Harbor where the sand is a few feet away from parking in the south end.
