Was looking through some older threads like this but didn't find anything in regards to prepping before touching up the paint. I just bought a 05 Limited and it's got a few small dings that have rust. 3 or 4 on the hood that are 1-2MM diameter, and the largest is on the rear right below the window, about 1/4 inch. Was going to use the duplicolor match at Advance, but thought I'd ask about sanding out the rust first. Is this recommended, or should I just fill in the dings with the paint and go? If sanding, a recommended grit of paper?
