SAS Trailgear transmission mount question

I have a question about the trailgear trans/transfer case mount. I've already finished the SAS on my truck. But can't figure out how i want to make a custom mount..so I'm going to purchase the TG one. My question is this: If I purchase the dual case mount, can I use it with a single mount for the time being until I get dual cases?

Well in case anyone cares for future reference, someone on the Tacomaworld forums is running the dual case mount with a single case. So I purchased the dual case mount. Will likey go with dual cases with tax return $
