Finally got around to finishing my Satoshi grill I went to go buy steel for a steel bumper I was making and saw they had some expanded steel in their junk pile which goes for $0.50 per lb. I painted the grill flat black and the expended steel gloss black just to be different.

SO to be clear before I go for this.. Can I buy a 98 grill and it will clip right up to my 99? I have mesh and I have the emblem.

i found a grill on amazon, that was not chrome for under $60

Here is my V2. I rounded the edge on the grill to make it rounder more.

I know this post is kind of old... hoping to still get an answer. I keep seeing people talk about using the 98 grills. Is there a reason? Planning on doing this mod this summer, but planned on just using my stock 2000 grill and modding it? Is it different?

Also, can someone hook a brother up... I'm out of the country right now and wanted to start ordering the stuff for this mod so I can do it when I get back from the Middle East.

Can someone tell me what size mesh they are using (estimate). I found a site that sells some sick grill mesh but not sure how much I should order... what's the dimensions you guys used?

I was looking at those, but they sell the sheets for way less and I could cut it myself. Also was asking because I was wondering the largest lettering size that could be used also.
