I have a 2002 runner. Will a 1997 4runner grill fit on my 2002 4runner?!? Any help would be awesome THANK YOU!!:cheers:

Just now that SATOSHI is a specific type of grill mod.
JUST ANY OLD GRILL MOD is not a Satoshi.
I only mention this because everyone is calling every grill mod Satoshi which is becoming kind of a joke.
Satoshi was a user on Yotatech and the way he did it with the Toyota logo in the middle was known as a Satoshi style.
Can't wait to see the Pics!

I have contemplated this mod and since the OPs question was answered, I have a different question about this mod. I have read that a 4runner owner with the grill mod ran into overheating issues while driving through a snow storm because the grill kept clogging up with snow. I live in a heavy snow area for the most part, anyone care to share their opinion or experience?

Although I am not a mod I can tell you there is nothing wrong with your question.
We are pretty easy going here.
T4R Best Practices:
* Just don't post duplicate threads
* learn how to search (see my signature)
* read some build threads
* read, read, read what is suggested by other users
* when some posts advice directly in a response to a question don't open a new thread the next day ignoring the answers already given (they know who they are)
To answer your specific question:
I wouldn't recommend you block the airflow with snow but I think that sounds like a one off. I have a big Toyota logo and PIAA lights and horns in my grill and I've never had the issues you described.

An aftermarket grill works just fine. Whenever I do one, I buy the grille from partsgeek.com. I've bought 15+ and never had a single problem. They fit just the same as stock.
EBay is your best bet for the FJ TOYOTA emblems, and dealer is best option for the FJ Cruiser emblem that is sometimes used.
