Satoshi Grill Sourcing?

I tried to search but I didn't really come up with anything. Wasn't there a member or two that did Satoshi Grills for sale? I'm thinking of doing an '06 Headlight conversion on my '04 and figured I might as well go with the grill while I am at it.

I build em but I'm not working on any of the '06 to '03 conversions right now. There may be others, but I don't think so.

Since you have the SW, you could trim the top plate with a grinder and fit a full size '06 grille. I just put one on 'mine' last week.

I got my grille on eBay as a stock replacement. Got it for $12 a while back. I cut it and trimmed to fit along with headlights a few weeks ago.

I found the mesh that I intend on using on mine on amazon, but it's a perforated mesh that is oriented in a specific axis that would force me to buy 36"x36" piece and cut it in half myself. I'd like to sell the second half though.

Is the '03 SW bumper cut to clear an '06 grille? The '03 bumpers I've seen were solid under the grille while the '06s are either shaped differently or trimmed to clear the grille. The '06 grille is about 1.5" taller than the '03 grille.

Yes. There is a 3 inch gap between the bumper and the grille. Mine fits perfectly.

I have about an inch or two gap between the bottom of my '04s grill and my SW bumper so it shouldn't be an issue; it has a cut out there for the grill for some reason (perhaps to accommodate '06-'09 vehicles?)

Gotcha, the DO and a couple others I've seen have modified versions for the '06 compared to the '03. Just didn't wanna see you order the grille and have it not fit.

I've still gotta figure out what the sheet cost would be, but I'd be willing to do it close to cost plus shipping if I could get it squared away. How much were you going to need, 12"x36"? BTW, are you from Pensacola? I grew up there from age 3-17.

To be honest I haven't done much research on it. If that's the measurement you used; then yes, that's what I need haha.

I'm in FWB. Been here since 2000. Love this area and I'm happy to call it home but wish there was some more shops and trails to run in the area.

Same here. I did a mod on my street bike a few years ago where i used wire mesh to cover engine vents on the side fairings. I went to walmart and bought a cheap $5-10 mesh trash can from walmart and cut it up. Worked like a charm.

You can PM me about details if you'd like but right now I have a couple of people in negotiations about the grilles so I'd have to wait until I complete these before I take anymore.
