Satoshi or no?

Sorry I know this is already a poll, but a lot of people in the other poll were asking for the options I'm looking at (factory color matched). After a month or so of deliberation I can't decide so I figured I'd poll again.

I just upgraded to '06 lights and the grill is next so some work had to be done and I started trimming today.

A. Satoshi with FJ40 emblem
B. "Stock" with (Put the white Toyota bar back)

Here it is now that I've trimmed the grille to fit and latch:

I didn't 'shop in the grille material cuz it wasn't worth it and it would be hard to see anyway but there would be black diamond material (the same as on the actual fj40 grille). Also the emblem will be white, like in the picture.

I didn't 'shop in the small slats for the same reasons, but if I do this, they'll be there.

Personally, I like the look (it depends on the color) for most of the T4R's. I have yet to do it to mine. Not sure if I want to clean out the bugs that get caught in the mesh

I forgot to add that you should take a look at Autbond - his bad ass runner is white w/ satoshi mod...

Autbond did have one of the best runners. Im using his 4runner as a basis to mod mine right now.

I vote for satoshi without FJ emblem. IMHO that old, squared-up "Toyota" lettering looks completely out of place and harmony with fresh & modern 4Runner lines. Stock grill just plain boring

I think no emblem at all will be too much black on mine and it needs to be broken up by something. Maybe a late model FJ toyota emblem or the larger more rounded plastic FJ40 emblem.

Hahah, yeah I've seen Autbond's grille. We go to the same school

Mine isn't nearly as bad ass as his (with the bumper, tires, & wheels), so I was thinking the satoshi might not look as well on mine.

I voted for the mod, with so many 4Runners on the road today, you need things to stand out. Plus it looks sweet!

I tried to by the FJ emblem the other day and got an email back saying it was no longer being made. :sobbing:

I like the look of the Satoshi but I wouldn't spend the money on it, its better to go to Home Depot and buy the wire mesh yourself and rig it up on your grill - that is what I plan on doing. If not I would go for the mod, the newer Runners front ends are pretty ugly IMO and they need something to enhance it.

Looks I'm gonna satoshi it.

I think I'm gonna use this toyota emblem instead:

It matches the lettering on the hatch and looks more appropriate for the age of the 4runner IMO.
