Satoshi?

Random question, but why do they call the grill mod we've all seen, a Satoshi Grill?

Who/what is satoshi? Searching on Google, satoshi refers to the first name of the inventor of BitCoin, creator of Pokemon, an oragami master, a DJ, a boxer, and a wrestler.

So how does any of that relate (or not relate) to the Satoshi Grill?

I actually believe that is a JDM option for most of the Toyota's over there. Not the first time I have seen a mirror in that location.

I lived in Japan for a while in the 90's.

Many of the cars then didn't have the mirrors on the doors...they were on the front of the fenders on both sides.
